Biggest Movers: XRP Rebounds on Friday, Nearing Recent Highs
XRP saw a more than 10% increase in today’s session as prices climbed towards a multi-month peak.
After a low of $0.4285 Thursday, XRP/USD surged to an intraday high of $0.503 earlier that day.
The token, formerly known by ripple, was seen near $0.558, the highest point since May.
The chart shows that earlier gains have been somewhat diminished as the relative strength indicator (RSI), collided with a ceiling.
The current index reading is 63.81. This is slightly lower than the resistance point of 65.00.
If XRP bulls try to reclaim last week’s high then a breakout will be required of the RSI ceiling.
UNUS SEED LEO (LEO).
UNUS SED LEO, which traded as high as 12% higher, was another notable mover today’s session.
LEO/USD reached an intraday high of $4.69 Friday, less than one day after it hit a low of 4.18.
Today’s rally is due to LEO rebounding from $4.05. Now, the token is close to reaching a ceiling of $4.80.
The rally was not only driven by the bounce off the price floor but also the 14-day RSI breaking through its own ceiling.
The index has moved beyond its resistance at 48.90 and is now tracking at 50.96 as of writing.
If LEO and the $4.80 point collide, it is possible that traders will attempt to gain gains, which could lead to a fall in prices.
